#e7 portals are my bane

My biggest skill in ffxiv is putting things off for ages because I’m nervous to try them, only to realise they’re easier than I thought and actually often very fun once I get into them. Frontlines is one of my favourite ways to level and it took three years to try it. I finally learned how endgame crafting works this week after buying my own equipment and things for the entirety of the EW patches. During Moonfire faire 2020 - a couple of weeks after I started playing - I saw the Major-General minion and decided I really wanted him, but I was too scared to try ocean fishing to get him. I finally attempted it with some friends a few weeks ago, and within one-two trips each, I had the little guy on all four of my characters. Ocean fishing is great, why did I put it off for an entire expansion cycle?

Maybe Dawntrail will be the expansion where I actually try hard fights lmao, aside from one blind attempt with friends at the 6.4 extreme I’ve never done one.
