Only a flicker of annoyance flashed across expression before settling a contentment reserved only for Hamel. Her inability to remain frustrated with the dancer was obvious to anyone who’s spent more than two seconds around them, even at the jab towards her reading skills. Or lack thereof according to popular rumor. 

“You’re right,” Chief plays along, a lazy grin stretching lips as she kept files close to her chest, out of Hamel’s line of sight. “But.... unfortunately, that doesn’t mean I can let you take a peek at this either. Sorry.”

Pointing at the pan on low heat, the egg that they had only just poured in was beginning to simmer with bright, yellow bubbles.

"Wait for the egg to set and form, and gently, with the spatula," Stargazer held out a plastic red spatula, akin to that of toy kitchenware, subtly flicked one end of the round egg surface, before reaching for its bottom and flicking again to form another fold.

"Now, give it a try and repeat until the end to get a full rolled omelette."
