I'm on the middle of reading Blue Period and like. Why is Geidai fucking trash ?

The teachers are so bad, and not only are they bad but also terrible people. They speak to their students violently and don't care about them or their art, yet don't bother actually explaining what's wrong with their pieces. They're manipulative and scary and seem proud of it, even though the point of a school is to help students grow and develop, and they are not helping with that. Like they don't even bother,, Explaining things ???

Sorry to say this but even if you're a famous artist that doesn't mean you can look someone in the eye and tell them they're selfish for not putting their art above themselves because they won't do a piece about themselves having sex.

The point of a teacher's job isn't to judge the value of their students as people but to help raise the value of their work.

Also, all that talk about only of their students being a diamond and the others only being there to polish that one student is fucking stupid, if you're gonna do a school for one person then don't admit so many people. When you take in students you have a duty to actually teach them and try to better them, not use them for others.
