hi!! i just wanted to say all your writing/headcannons are really great and i may have read all of them in one day. i just wanted to say thank you, i know our fandom is sad rn given the circumstances, but your writing is such a nice reminder there are others who love the show just as much

Aw, thanks! Glad you are enjoying them. I just can’t get enough of this show, especially of kaymeron. They are too cute together. I really hope someone else picks up the show and we get to see more of them, but,until then, writing about them will have to suffice. 13. Who likes to give the other hugs from behind followed by a kiss?

Cameron likes to hug Kay from behind, especially when he can sneak it in while they’re working. Kay is the one who turns around in in his arms and places a light kiss on either his lips or his nose reducing him to a blushing mess. He forgets that while he can make her smile, she makes him blush. Cameron blushes… A LOT!

Okay… never really written for Dina and Mike… gonna try but I apologize if it’s not great.

Who kisses the other on the nose and the one receiving the kiss blushes?

The first time Mike kisses Dina on the nose, it’s after their first date and when Mike leaves the archive, Dina kind of just stays in her spot. she’s a blushing mess but doesn’t move from where she’s standing until Cameron walks in, sees her frozen and has to wave a hand in front of her face to snap her out of it.

Who kisses the inside of their partner’s palm before reassuring them everything is going to be okay?

It depends on the situation so it kind of becomes their thing. If Dina’s stressing, Mike will kiss her palm to remind her that it’s okay and if Mike’s stressing, especially about his boys, Dina will kiss his palm to remind him that he’s not alone.

Where do they first say “I love you”?

I think they would say it while watching a movie on the couch or something. just during a time when their most relaxed. They don’t even think anything of it at first until the other says it back… a little hilarity ensues as they become awkward blushing messes.

Who breaks out the first aid kit when the other gets a paper cut?

That would be Dina. She’s so used to being on guard to help with any and all injuries because of Cameron and Jonathan… and Jordan and Gunter that when Mike gets a paper cut, she pulls out a first aid kit from her purse and Mike says, “Dina, it’s fine, it’s just a paper cut.”

“Darling, there is no such thing as just a paper cut.“ She would say as she disinfected the tiny wound, “It could get infected and then your finger could just lop off.“ Mike might have rolled his eyes at her unnecessary concern but realized in that moment that she was going to make a great mom one day.

How do they hold each other when their partner asks to be held?

Mike would wrap his arms around her and she would lean her head on his shoulder. Dina spends so much time taking care of her boys (the team) that she sometimes forgets to take care of herself and let herself relax… good thing she’s got Mike.

Dina would give him a great big hug and have them snuggle on the couch until Mike feels better.

Who brings the blanket to wrap them both up in it?

Dina, normally, it’s while they are watching a movie and they cuddle up under the blanket until they fall asleep.

Who likes to be held and who likes to hold?

Honestly… Dina secretly likes being held and Mike not-so-secretly likes to hold. Mike knows how amazing Dina is and he makes it clear that if she ever needs someone to lean on, she can lean on him.

10. Who picks up the other fireman style in a playful way?

Oh, that’s definitely Cameron who picks up Kay like that. He especially does that when he feels that Kay needs to lighten up a little and just have fun.

He also did that while Kay was at work once when she refused to get some rest after working night and day on a case that still hadn’t been solved. Deakins pretends that she never saw that but even she admits in her mind that it was one of the most interesting things that she had seen happen in that building.
