#what can i say except that i love to analyze my own characterization and explain all my very deliberate writing choices #i can do this with my other fics actually in case anyone wants to ask abt them but i don't think they're as dense as the closet fic #ever since writing orchid and doing that annotated version of it that i still have not finished i have never had rest #i will analyze my own writing and feel like an intellectual snob the entire time but it's just like... #i love giving people a deeper understanding of my writing like that. i think it's worth trying to find depth in any story #just y'know an appreciation for the language used and for the technical aspects of a story. i think that's nice #花話
