Funny little dog, who would have thought, 4 years ago, how much we'd come to enjoy your little quirks and foibles. You were equally hilarious and frustrating, but that stubby tail wagged furiously and you were always in the kitchen looking for morsels to satisfy your voracious appetite. No wonder we called you Multiworm; you really would eat anything! And when you didn't eat your favourite chicken and sweet potato, we knew something was up. We knew we wouldn't have you forever; we just didn't expect to say goodbye now. But it seems you were older than anyone suspected, and the time had come. Multiworm, Grub, Weißwürst, AmaVettieVet, Morsel-Finder, The Great White Stomach; I'm glad I found you, trotting down that road towards certain death. I only wish we could have let your owners know that you were safe, because you were clearly a much-loved little madame. May there always be a soft cushion, a low couch, fresh chicken, sweet potato, and a Hot Thing radiating heat, for your dozing pleasure.
