While I’m complaining I’ll say the hate on Luke Combs for the success of his Fast Car cover has always been aggressively annoying, given Tracey Chapman has openly stated she likes the cover and loves the paychecks it brings in AND she made an extremely rare appearance at the Grammys to perform it with him, so there are clearly no hard feelings there whatsoever. And yet people continue to speak over her and make a problem where there isn’t one.

#stop telling women how we’re supposed to feel like it’s so annoying #I say this as someone who has never even listened to the cover all the way through because why would I when #fast car by Tracey Chapman exists #however. there are people acting like the man deserved to be burned at the stake for covering a song #I need the online community to get a grip step aside touch grass #that said I will now be logging off myself lmao #to listen to their performance which was the best of the night #grammys
