Hello February!! It’s a new month with new beginnings!! Monday, January 30 was my first official day of work at Spotlight News/TheSpot518. I edited paper drafts, filled out paperwork, & yesterday, discussed what I’ll cover for my first assignments before I was sent along my way. Early portion of week will be office time. Remaining week is remote & community (while on assignment). Everything is going well so far & I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes in this new career move. It’s taken me 7 years to go from contributor to full-time employee & it’ll be exciting to see what I’ll do & discover the stories that need to be told through my lens. Thank you so much for for your guidance, support, well-wishes, & sharing story tips with me.
