#i am. so good at drawing chrysanthemums and specifically the variety of morning glory thats considered a weed where i live (bindweed) #i can bust them out referenceless in like 2 seconds its getting ridiculous #as an art student ive always kept a lot of my school and professional work and for-fun work (namely my funny little anime boy lookin ocs) #pretty separate (i dont know why. its good to have boundaries but straight up most of my classmates are SHOCKED when they see my #watercolour cartoons LOL like no one knows outside of my closest friends and also my blog followers HKJFDLSHJKFDSD) #(a grad student buddy of mine suggested i bring more of this side of myself out more and i think hes right) #(its good to have things a little separate but that doesnt mean everything always has to be on other sides of the earth) #(so i've been trying to work on that) #but the flowers have absolutely bled into my schoolwork. sometimes i need something to decorate some ceramic piece or i need a quick subject #for like a painting and its like BAM. chrysanthemums #someday someones gonna ask whats the deal. someones gonna ask the meaning of it all #how will i tell them. its because of my magical girl oc and her friends
