i love the decision of him having guns despite having powers because it really does make sense considering how he doesn’t use his guns too often but only when the person he’s facing isn’t a clear challenge/worthy of his physical powers. it really shows that he has standards for who gets their ass whooped and who gets a simple shot in the face.

also makes sense that wesker takes his time whooping chris, jills, and sheva’s ass. he knows they’re skilled opponents and likes the challenge

also love that they wanted to humanize him since people like to assume he’s emotionless. while re5 wesker had way more potential and was done pretty dirty in both character and through the story i did like that they gave him more emotion/slight vulnerability in his cutscenes. yeah, he’s good at hiding emotions but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel them 🌝

#genuinely hope that wesker has more screen time in re5r #like is it just me or does it feel like wesker barely gets any screen time in the games?? #even ones where he’s the main antagonist he’s in like 10% of the total game #the most important re villain yet he barely gets the screen time he deserves #in re5 he didn’t show up until chapter 6-3 #also we need more files including his lore #there was like #14 files in the game i think? #not nearly enough to explain more lore which i dearly need #i liked in the little control center there a file where wesker explains how he’ll go about his plans #also reminds me of how smart he is cause i have no idea what he’s talking about but i read it anyways #it’s written in his perspective too so i’m like ‘hehe wesker wrote this more analyzing his character’ #or as an alternative i like to like he’s info dumping to himself because he has nobody else to talk to (that he likes)
