Demo Update

Hey everyone!

Finn here to give you an update on the status of the Feranix demo. All 110 of our pelts (you read that right - 110!) have been successfully ported to all stages of the Smilodon: Adult Male, Adult Female, Adolescent Male, Adolescent Female, and Cub. We’re exceptionally pleased with that. 

Coding on the demo is complete.

We’re finishing our marking ports (which will come in a fantastic 25 colors PER marking!) and then we’ll be uploading files, creating Alpha accounts, and opening the demo. After the demo is opened, we’ll begin work on porting the pelts and markings to first the Cave Lions, then the Giant Cheetahs. 

At the same time, we’ll be digging deep into the brand new adventure of Explore, where you will uncover Feranix lore, meet NPCs, discover shops, and learn all about the world that your pride inhabits. That’s right: our site features will be built directly into Explore! You’ll need to discover shops before you can use them, complete quests, and build your reputation with various NPCs before they’ll offer you their services.

We’re striving to provide the most immersive experience possible, and we want to give you goals to work towards and cool rewards for meeting them!

On that note, we would like to extend an impassioned plea to our followers regarding our Patreon. The development process for a simulation game of our scale is long, involved and exceptionally expensive. We’re doing out absolute best to fund Feranix and be assured, development is moving forward regardless!

We are absolutely committed to this passion project.

However, we want to speed up. We want to provide you with excellent content faster! To do that, we need to be able to reliably pay our coders and artists for their time and effort.
