Hi. I’m only three and a half months into my travels up through Central America and have already spent a wonderful time in the Caribbean coast, visiting Pueblo Nuevo, Wawashang and Orinoco and am currently in Pearl Lagoon. Rather than go back through Bluefields and then to El Rama by panga and back to Managua which I want to avoid, I’ve been kind of recommended to go up along the coast as it is relatively untouched by tourists, but as is the way here, no-one really knows how I’ll go about it and shrugs.
Any tips?
Plus, if anyone has any questions about places to stay or things to do in the above mentioned places, I’ll be more than happy to share anything I can. It’s a truly astounding place and if anyone is in the area, visiting and working at the plantation-come-boarding school at Wawashang is something you will never regret, along with a few days in Orinoco.

I am looking to book a 1-2.5 week solo trip for the summer. I would like to go somewhere warm, beautiful and preferably with a beach aspect as I love the ocean and water sports. The destination must be very safe in general and especially for female solo travelers. I am also looking for something with a particularly strong community aspect/ social aspect – perhaps destinations that attract young solo-travelers or organized trips (although not those of which stop in each city for 2 days each and aim to cover half of a region in 2 weeks). Although I know many solo trips would lend themselves to meeting people at different points of the trip but going about your own way, I would prefer to get close with a group of people and have a shared experience. As examples, I have been thinking about surf camps and boat trips (around islands in Greece, i.e.). If anyone knows of any particularly fun, safe, and social surf camps or boat trips please let me know! I would love to hear about your experiences! Or if you know of any other experiences of this nature, I would love to hear about those as well!

Like the title says, I’m trying to come up with a vacation in Europe for a family of four. The family consists of me (22F), my brother (19M), and our parents (50’sM/F). We want to go to Europe next summer on a budget of $1000 per person for a week. But we can’t decide where to even begin to look for, so I’m hoping you guys could come up with some ideas for us!
Our interests: My dad and I love museums, historic sights, natural beauties, local foods, and tours. My brother is a socialite so some places with an active nightlife would be great. My mom and brother like shopping also like shopping so somewhere with a mall or market or something. We also like doing “touristy” things.
We’ve been to Mexico, the Cayman Islands, and the Dominic Republic several times but this will be our first time in Europe.
