seeing bg3 gameplay makes me feel 11 again bc it feels like all the popular games that were age appropriate but also touched on the depth/scope I've always loved were the turn-based RPGs (i did in fact play some wizards 101 and pirates 101). like not the cutscenes just the (default) distance of the camera from the player the automatic circles around the party members (i think i spotted some)......................... obviously you couldn't [redacted for spoilers] in those games. or [redacted for spoilers] either. i'm definitely nervous to get it for xmas bc it's always so hard to deal with expectations for things when the expectations are from when you were a kid LOL. anyways. doing this for the kid inside me who had zero interesting lore-heavy games to play bc they weren't old enough for them.

#if i download it at 8 AM hopefully it will be done late at night so my mom doesn't come downstairs to do her puzzles and see me right in the #middle of debating whether i want my character to have a bush or not. #maybe i'll set up my computer in my bedroom when i come back home that way i can shut the door and make them knock so i can minimize the #game in case i need to LOL #yes i'm planning everything out in advance. i can't help it #rambling #im ngl i definitely deflated when i learned it was turn based BUT. i've never actually sunk time into a game like that so as long as it's #like... not TOO lengthy when you're in battle/you can play it fast then i'll be okay bc i don't play d&d for lengthy battle i play it bc i #have friends. i'm more invested in narrative. story mode ftw!
