Avengers World
Avengers X Stark!Reader
Prompt(s): I love your writing. Could you do an imagine where the reader is Tony’s young daughter, like 13 or 14, and just her adventures and life with avengers world around her?
Note(s): Wow, this was one of the very first XReaders I wrote. It’s an oldie! Of course it’s had it’s minor grammatical revisions, so enjoy :)
Warning(s): None.
Word Count: 1056.
You had been living at the Avengers Facility for a whole year now. Tony, your dad, had decided to bring you there to live as the threats of baddies rose higher and higher. Being a concerned dad, and with Pepper’s advice, he had decided that it was a good idea for you to live in a secret and safe place where you could learn to protect yourself and learn about the wonders of the world.
And, as far as you were concerned, it had worked. Not only had you excelled in your studies and your self protection, but you had made some great friends and memories. There wasn’t anything you’d trade in the world for them. In fact, you loved thinking about your favorite ones constantly…
------
Tony had after consideration upon your first few weeks at the Facility, decided you needed to spend less time in his lab and more time with the rest of the Avengers. He herded you out, patting your head and leaving you in the kitchen with a call of “be good!”. Clint had stopped his conversation with Pietro to raise an eyebrow at you after the engineer left.
“How come he’s just ditching you like that? I mean, I know he isn’t the best dad but come on, just dumping you like you’re a five year old at daycare isn’t the best parenting.” Clint complained, patting the seat next to himself for you to sit. You had met the archer before, once after the Chitauri incident and another after Sokovia. You had met most of the Avengers on the tour during your first day at the facility, anyways.
Conversation went smoothly after that, the others included you as though you had been there all along. It didn’t take long for your curiosity to set in, however, as you watched Pietro’s fingers tap and Clint clean his bow and arrows.
“Hey….Who's faster, Clint’s arrows or Pietro?” You asked.
“Well duh, my arrows-”
“Me obviously-”
You took a second to laugh as Clint and Pietro verbally dueled it out. Soon enough they stood side by side on the end of the kitchen. Pietro went down into a running stance and Clint held up his bow and arrows.
“Hey (y/n), time us!” Pietro called. They waited until you shouted the word, “Go!” Suddenly there were arrows all over the wall and the tiles were scorched, trailing to Pietro standing between two arrows with one in his hand.
“Who won?!” They asked.
You never found out, because your phone opened to the calculator instead of the timer and because Steve walked into the room.
“What the hell happened in here?”
“.....Nothing….”
------
Another fond memory was the time you were in the middle of basic combat training with Pietro and Wanda. Scott, or as you had heard about him as Ant-Man, was accompanying you guys as well. Natasha had left to go discuss something with Thor after he returned from a mission, his mischievous brother not far behind.
While you guys rested Loki came over and sat down beside you. The man had found company in your quick wit that you shared with your father. He simply listened as Scott explained to the twins about his ability to grow as well as shrink.
“So…..You’re saying that you can reverse shrinking into growing instead, correct?” Wanda asked, getting only a little bit out of Scott’s scientific explanation.
“Basically yeah.”
“Then why don’t you show us, Ant Man? Or what is it they also call you, Giant Man?” Pietro waved his hand around, interested in seeing Scott grow  taller than the facility.
“I-I don’t think so guys, I mean I’ve only done it twice and I’ve fainted before so- hey what-what the hell- okay my helmets got on my head on its own guys this is nOT COOL REPEAT NOT COOL!” Scott panicked. You looked over and tsked, watching Loki grin his maverick grin while magic swirled from his fingertips.
“It’s alright, we just want to see a show, Ant Boy.” Loki hummed. You ended up having to be moved by Pietro as Loki took over Scott’s controls and he grew. Scott, now a lumbering giant, had to steady himself from falling over onto the complex. He also had to search for you and the twins, to make sure he hadn’t stepped on you guys by accident.
“Haha, very funny, Loki! N-now I’m going to shrink back down, yeah? Loki- don’t mess my controls!”
“Give it a minute Scott!” You called, excited, “Let me see the Facility from that height! Just lower your hand down and bring it back up with me on it- I wanna see how it looks from up there.”
Scott, seeing as he had no choice by Loki’s magic, lowered his hand and brought you back up. Wanda, Pietro, and Loki hitched a ride too. The four of you relished in the sight that you saw.
The bright light of the sunny day cast a beautiful glow on the trees around the facility.  The sun would be going down soon, you could hardly imagine how that would look. The birds flew around Scott’s head, some even flew around your group. You laughed, tugging on Pietro’s arm as you marveled at the sight before you.
Sadly though, Scott soon ran out of particles and ended up shrinking about to normal Scott size. Luck for you, Loki was magic and managed to teleport all of you on the ground safely.
You couldn’t even get halfway into a rant to Scott about how absolutely amazing it was before Thor and Natasha ran over, the rest of the Avengers not far behind. You sighed as Tony landed, full body armor, just returned from a mission and was on high alert.
“What the hell was that, Scott?! I thought you only used it in ‘dire emergencies!’” Tony asked, his face plate moving up. You watched as Scott pointed to Loki. Then came the cued groans of the Avengers.
“Let’s go Loki, we have something to talk about.” Thor grumbled as he dragged a complaining Loki back to the building. He was sure to get an earful, you had thought. Another thing you were sure of was that you would never forget that sight. Or forget the fact that you loved your wonderful, big, and wacky family.
