And that’s when you looked up and saw the beautiful, clear blue eyes.

Even tho you complimented him in the first meeting and seemed completely harmless, he was still very hesitant to trust you. That kinda what he does.

He’s not shy, and he doesn’t hate you,he’s just a little cautious.

And so he watched you get along with his brothers. And that’s how he started to trust and fall for you.

It started with the major things that he noticed.

Your favourite bands, Color’s, and style.

When he finally realised he could trust you  he did take into consideration that your shy.

When he approached you, it was very formal and yet very kind.

Y’all became very quick friends after he heard how you liked to mediate.

Dudes entire motors screams slow burn.

This relationship develops over at least a six month time period.and this is the just friends stage.

After times he kinda learns more things about you.

How smart and sweet you were, how you loved to dance and spinning is one of your favourite parts of it.

All of a sudden you were coming over and he set out your fave fork.

Why does he know this? He asks himself in the middle of the night when Mikey talks about how close you are and how he seems to know about you likes and dislikes.

In denial for like two weeks and avoids you for both.

Realised he caught feelings and thankfully  you had them as well cause you had to make the first move.

When you did it was very awkward but also very sweet because he spent most of your confession and after being the gentleman he it.

When your relationship started he absolutely adored learning and doing the things that you liked, especially cause he liked to do them as well.

Reading and meditation, not to mention running!

Thinks your hobbies are the coolest especially cause they are similar to his( meditation, workout, eat and then read)

Y’all really got on swell.

He understands that you are shy and quite and he really doesn’t mind, he’s a ninja after all so you both were able to get on noticing each other without actually being noticed.

Wyatt defense eps 8-10

So I have been reading the other posts about Wyatt and the really good one I read ended at episode 7. So I thought since I was rewatching I wanted to give my opinion on Wyatt those last few episodes.

The fact of the matter is leading up to what we know Jessica is back (yay...), Wyatt and Lucy had the magical night in Hollywoodland and are literally forced to not be with each other thanks to good ole Rhittenhouse bringing Jessica back from the dead (please return to sender) but I wanted to look into Wyatts actions those last few episodes so bare with me.

So we start with them going on this mission where they think they are there to protect Reagan. Wyatt however sees the target on the back of a police officers back and realizes she must be the target and that is Agent Christopher.

When he tells the team they all understand without Christopher there is no Time Team. And up to this point (which those deleted scenes proved even more) Wyatt has been pushing back his feelings for Lucy... I mean the dude is madly in love with her. And I agree with the twitter video she is his Soulmate ( he doesnt realize that) but he definately cant lose her or the team. They split up which is probably good. Wyatt needs some guy time with Rufus and Lucy with Jiya. Besides last mission they fought a lot and def needed space.

Now I find it interesting that among the questions Wyatt asks the sleeper agent is why did Rhittenhouse bring back my wife. The guy is suspicious which doesnt just happen. He didnt hear about her brother until after he got back so what caused these suspicions as we already know in 2.09 that Wyatt doesnt know about Jess being on the Rhittenhouse computers.

Is there trouble in Paradise?

I think so case and point 2.07 lame ass wave 🤣😂

He fights and kicks ass norm Wyatt and loved the scene with Agent Christopher and thanking him which makes me wonder is that why he was chosen for the mission? 🤔 love the Timeless writers consistently blowing my mind.

Then he gets back to bunker where he is talking To Jessica and she talks about missing her family and her brother... who btw is one of Wyatts close friends in the timeline. Interestingly enough Wyatt is catching on and says you know your brother died before we met... when he was 3 which raises another red flag...she says he was saved by stem cell research. (🚩🚩🚩 from viewers) he then asks is there something she isnt telling him....

The look on his face. So I have to admit I took it a different way. I was hoping he would have done the math and realized 3 weeks in the bunker plus 6 weeks not seeing her prev does not a baby make but I digress.

He is taking in these news as something he wanted to hear for so long and now its coming.

So episode 9 we see a different Wyatt... he is agitated he is not wanting to really listen to anyone expecially when it comes to Jessica.

I wont lie hated that he didnt tell Lucy privately but some people on twitter made me see the light... he is upset he has to push Lucy away and he is taking it out on her. Hate that but lets face it the baby bomb has made Wyatt now want to be loyal to woman carrying his child over the woman he truely loves.

I would even go so far as to say looking back after he snapped on Lucy as he is obviously in denial about Jessica even with the facts in front of him because he didnt want to think that seriously all of the hurt and pain he has caused to the woman he loves was because of a lie. He had to believe it was real which brings me to his convo with Rufus. He literally says that if she is Rhittenhouse he is done. He literally has to believe she is telling the truth other wise he just put the Time Team in danger and it is all his fault.

When he goes back after the jealousy hit that not only did Lucy ride off with Flynn ( She got herself on the horse... you go girl not needing a man) and he tells Wyatt congrats on the baby it hurt. Lucy this woman he loves told their enemy who tried to kill them all last year about his personal situation. The hall way where she admits she told him as it was a long ride and he would have found out anyways. Very true. Then we go to her hugging him. (Unscripted and truely pure)

He hasnt had this closeness with Lucy for... gosh... Hollywoodland aside from her almost being killed by Emma at the Kennedy Curse. Up until the point he has wanted to keep Jessica in the bunker... if she goes I go. Then this beautiful moment happens...

We go to Wyatts room with Jessica and he tells her he thinks she should go and that he will visit her and make sure she is okay and protected. She knows he is holding back something... her red flags are going off thus why she acts quickly kidnaps Jiya and steals the lifeboat.

This scene straight up breaks me. Wyatt has just admitted that he knows that he had suspicions about Jessica and did not tell everyone. Now in his defense... 1) he only just found out and still a lot to process with that and the baby situation and he was trying to get her out of the bunker. It is only really just hitting him that it was bad 2) this just goes to show literally how much Jessica has clouded his judgement. And the tears as he looks at Lucy. Seriously I started crying. He knows she cant believe he did this she was just defending him. I imagine Wyatt right at this moment who already feels like crap... feels worse. The woman he loves is literally so disappointed in him. And he can feel all of this hitting him at once.

Also as much as I detest that they had to show Wyatt accidentially hitting Lucy it truely shows he has hit rock bottom and if the deleted Tuck and kiss scene has shown us he would never intentionally hit her... it was just she was in the wrong spot at the wrong time.

His talk with Rufus further stresses my second point that this whole situation has clouded Wyatts judgement. He is not thinking about what is best for the team but for his family. Guys dont forget in our past recall on Wyatt he came from an abusive father who was a complete jerk but was still his dad. He wants a family he just hasnt fully realized he already has it. He just wants to be loved and I agree with the other posts I dont think he feels with his upbringing and background he is worthly of love let alone the love of a woman like Lucy. I mean dont get me wrong Jessica prior to this Rhittenhouse Jessica seems nice but compare to Lucy. I mean the woman is a history professor who writes books and literally goes through history like a bad ass. Just saying.

So when we get to the ally scene where Jessica is giving her big dramatic speech ( didnt believe her just saying) he wants to do everything he can to protect his child... Jessica has already openly admitted his Jessica is dead pretty much and she has a higher purporse... thank you rhittenhouse(not) and she is going to do whats right for her baby.

Sad part is Jessica doesnt realize with Carol gone... her sands are running out meaning as soon as she is no longer of use to Emma she will be killed. Emma is a survivor. She will not let anyone get in the way and potentially harm her mission.

So now we go back to the shoot out and the fact that Wyatt was aiming at Jessica and puts gun down and flynn shoots at her. Wyatt I dont believe is doing it truely for Jessica other than that she is carrying his child and he wants to protect it as he would his team.

When Rufus is shot he stays with him until he dies. He asks Flynn to help Lucy because he does know the guy cares for her.

Now if there is anything I want to add after this I love you I just want to point out the new deleted scenes

This man has loved her... he doesnt need her to say it back as he feels that after all he put her through he doesnt deserve for her to say it back. He just wants to finally get it out.

My thoughts the dude messed up. Did he purposely try to hurt Lucy hell no. The man loves her with all of his being. Its funny as I remember Hollywoodland and the Jessica coming back I was never mad at him. I was like Noooo but I honestly said I cant be mad because this was the Wyatt we know and love. He actually needed this I can see this now Timeless room. This is the Wyatt who fought 1st season to get his Wife back. He was greiving for 6 years and Lucy even backs him for it in the final episode when Flynn tries to down him for what he did. He has been put in a horrible situation where no way is right. He cant be loyal to his wife while being loyal to his heart and Lucy. Hopefully season 3 we can see the mending of the friendship and relationship of #lyatt because they have already been through a lot and this will only make them stronger... case and point 👇
