Wild Barberry

This is me picking barberry in late November. You have to harvest a lot of these little berries just to make a small jar of tincture.

When harvesting wild plants, I prefer to pick from different areas, if possible, and not take everything from the same spot. It’s better for the environment.

I have noticed that wild animals tend to eat a little from one spot, move on, and eat a little more from another spot. It’s nature’s way of keeping things in balance.

Good Morning Father God! So today, I'm back in the gym! As I put the peddle to the meddle ; I'm reminded of how much I've missed my workouts! Not that I'm praising body motion, but I know how valuable the freedom to be here is. I'm a social Love engine. I meet people here who I would not meet any place else. Sadly, many are more focused on the outer than the inner man. But, than why else would God have me here at this gym, at this time!? They need Him and I need their diligence and technique. We still need each other. By the way, the gym smells of bleach and disinfectant! I'm wearing gloves and praying behind my mask. There are sanitation stations set up with sanitizer etc...Woody, the owner is here all day making sure we are safe. He's keeping the door open and has gone above and beyond!
