there’s nothing to really say about marsemmy vernon’s short time spent in brooklyn. the first four years, the only years she has when her family was a trio. her mother, an alcoholic and her father, a workaholic pastry chef. her memories are vague, but mars knows well-enough that they weren’t a happy little family in their one bedroom apartment. 

her parents try fixing their marriage by moving from their shitty situation. geneva was nice, the house they bought a fraction of the price and triple the size of what they had in the city (though, this is hardly a brag). the couple lasts for another two years before her mother leaves for good this time, not before scarring mars by forgetting to pick her up from her first day of kindergarten at the same time.

markus and marsemmy vernon worked much better as a duo, anyways. it was like they had a mutual understanding. they could only depend on one another, there was no one else in this town to call home except for one another. markus had been a baker since he was a teenager, bouncing around from shop to shop. when his wife left him and his daughter, he knew it was only up to him to finally plant roots to help his family grow. valhalla baking company opened in late 2004, priding himself on creative work and a place for any and all souls to find the same comfort he did in baked goods. mars would hang out at the shop daily after school whenever she could. picture, if you will: a small eight year old stepping onto a step stool to ring someone up. it’s no wonder that mars took to baking just like her father did. 

she takes care of herself in her adolescence, and more importantly, their father. the man who raised them, and taught them everything they knew. it was another thing mars was good at; nurturing, being the responsible one of the dynamic duo, even as a teenager. her childhood may have been nonexistent, but she tells herself she wouldn’t have traded it for anything. high school graduation comes and goes, and mars doesn’t go off to college like most of her classmates. instead, she dives headfirst into working full time at the bakery. valhalla is busier than ever after all, becoming a staple business in geneva.her father passed away very suddenly and tragically over a year ago. 

according to many news reports, markus verhoff fell asleep at the wheel after a long day of work, and crashed his car. mars doesn’t talk about him much these days, diving headfirst into her work the same way her father did, and going a step beyond: moving the business to the hamptons. after all, he left the business to her in his will. twenty-five years old and a business owner, it weighs heavy on her. but she tries her best.

odessa was was born on January 22, in the bustling city of austin, texas. from a young age, she showed a keen interest in figure skating, and her parents enrolled her in skating classes when she was just four years old.

despite being the only girl in a family of three children, with two older brothers, odessa quickly proved herself to be a natural on the ice.

as she grew older, she continued to excel in figure skating, spending countless hours perfecting her moves and routines. she competed in local competitions and soon began to make a name for herself in the skating world.

her talent and dedication caught the attention of coaches and trainers, and before long, odessa was invited to train with some of the best skating coaches in the country.

her ultimate goal was to train and qualify into the olympics.

her brothers both worked their way into the nhl following in their fathers footsteps, and while she was extremely proud of them she couldn't help feeling as though she constantly had to prove herself to her parents.

while training to qualify for the olympics, odessa sustained a serious injury to her ankle during a competition. the injury required surgery and several months of rehabilitation, during which she was unable to skate. for odessa, the injury was not just a physical setback but an emotional one.

skating had been a central part of her life, and she felt lost without it. she began to question whether she would ever be able to skate again, let alone pursue her dreams of competing at the highest level.

after months of hard work and dedication to her rehabilitation, odessa was finally cleared to skate again. however, the experience had left a deep impression on her. she began to feel like she needed a change, something to shake up her routine and reignite her passion for skating.

that's when the opportunity to move to the hamptons presented itself. the move offered her a chance to start fresh, both physically and emotionally. it was a new environment with new challenges and opportunities, and it gave her the chance to refocus on her skating career and her dreams.

she thought it'd be a temporary change but as time went on she knew this was going to be her new permanent home.

the shift happened after an accident rhys's sophomore year of high school. he and archer, a senior that year, decided to go for a joy ride to celebrate a victory after an important match that had their hockey team on a one way ticket to state.

he wasn't supposed to be driving but the roads were quiet that night and rhys was only a week out from getting his license at the time. unfortunately, a drunk driver had come out of nowhere, running a red at an intersection and barreling straight for the palmer boys. it could've been worse for rhys. it should've been, doctors had said, if it weren't for the way archer had shielded him that night, sustaining most of the injuries.

rhys only pushed himself hard after that. both out of guilt and determination, especially in hockey, feeling like he owed it to archer to prove him self in the sport he no longer could. archer himself has never blamed rhys, but rhys blames himself and knows while they've never voiced it, his parents do too.

📚 naomi’s mother was born and raised in korea, whereas her father was born and raised in london. the pair met in london while her mother studied abroad. in the year of 1998, she was born ironically on valentine’s day. her mother was young when she had her, just started her freshmen year of college, which they remained in london, so she could finish her studies. her father graduated two years prior to her mother’s graduation and received a really good business job in new york, where they moved to the hamptons. 

📚 naomi’s father was always busy at work, resulting in her mother being a stay at home mom. she was extremely strict on her growing up wanting her to be a perfect child, wanting to reflect that even though she had her at a young age, her daughter was still successful. this resulted in her mother forcing her to participate in multiple activities such as beauty pageants, ballet, soccer, and she even took on violin. she found herself extremely unhappy as a child since she didn’t really have time to be a kid. 

📚 when it came to school, she passed with flying colors. her parents expect nothing less from her, anything below a B was considered unacceptable. upon entering high school, she became interested in boys. she would often have to sneak out to hang out with friends, see boyfriends and all that. 

📚 sixteen year old naomi ended up getting pregnant with her boyfriend. once her mother found out, she forced her to break up with him and not inform him about the baby since they planned on giving the child up for adoption. six months later, she gave birth to a baby boy, elijah. naomi got the chance to hold her child and when she did, she knew she couldn’t let him go, so she convinced her mother to raise him, telling everyone that the child was her baby brother instead of her own son. her mother insist on adoption, however, seeing her daughter with the child, she just knew that she couldn’t do that to the child, so she agreed. 

📚 naomi’s mother also decided to home school her for the remainder of her high school, so they both could stay home with the baby. by the time she graduated high school, elijah was two. college was rolling around and she got into a really good school in california for nursing. she really didn’t want to go to california, didn’t want to be miles apart from her child, but her mother insisted and she was forced to go. 

📚 entering college, she had to take extracurriculars for her graduation requirement, so she took a child development class for fun. that was when she realized that her heart was set out to become a teacher, change little kids lives for the better, not on nursing. it also helped her understand her son’s development more and more. so, she switched majors and in four years she graduated with her masters. she was now twenty-two and her son was now six years old and he still thought that she was his older sister. 

📚 moving back to the hamptons, she wanted to spend as much time as she could with elijah after practically missing four years of it. the thought of wanting to tell him the whole truth crossed her mind multiple times, especially, now that she's back, however, she just doesn't know when is the right time. after moving back, she did a bunch of filter jobs for a year, until she landed a teaching position. now, she’s twenty-four as a first year elementary school teacher.

when julian met melanie all seemed to right in each others world. they seemed to be in their own bubble. nothing seemed to break them apart they had no cares in the world. they just fell madly in love very quickly not thinking anything could bring them down. because of this “perfect” relationship just five months into it they were engaged and then ten months in they were married. to them everything was perfect, they understood each other they both thought they had the same values and two years into their marriage they welcomed their first child lucas lopez.

now because they both thought they had the same values both melanie and julian lived secrets lives apart from their partner. julian hid a secret family and melanie lopez hiding her true identity and only one came to light soon after their eldest child turned two years old when julian’s mistress birthed julian’s next child gabriel ramos-lopez and dropped the newborn baby off with his father and disappeared without a trace.

problems only seemed to then surface with a cheating scandal in the books melanie once thought she was forced to care for a child that wasn’t hers and though on the outside she looked like the doting mother of two boys she despised her husband with every well being.

julian and melanie constantly fought in private deciding to keep things away from the children and family members who still thought everything was perfectly fine. with the constant fights the two decided to try counseling to fix their marriage or at least try to salvage it which was how they ended up welcoming their next child into the world

THEN:

on april 10th, 1996 Julian and Melanie Lopez welcomed their third child into the world and wanted to be surprised so they never expected isabella to be a girl, but once she was born their entire world was filled with happiness and joy once again returning to their love blissed bubble that hid every secret they could possibly hide from one another.

isabella seemed to be the perfect distracting for the lopez family the one thing that truly seem to bring her parents together. everything seemed perfect everything looked perfect and they all seemed happy as a little family and though isabella seemed to be the glue that brought them together, it was also the moment where she became the most sheltered of their siblings. from her first steps, both older brothers standing beside her ready to hold her up if she fell, to her first fall where she was held by her father who wouldn’t let go of her till she fell asleep in his arms, to the time where her parents once again found out they were pregnant with her youngest brother and bought isabella all the toys so she wouldn’t be upset despite her only being two years old and not understanding a thing but once her younger brother was brought into the world everything then slipped apart

she was a child who was rarely told no. if any of the siblings wanted anything they knew sending the daughter in to ask for what they wanted always guaranteed they’d get what they want, from staying up an extra hour past bed time, to getting a puppy they all wanted, to having desserts before dinner, whenever isabella asked for something it always went her way.

though because she wasnt the youngest she was the only daughter she was very sheltered. with two older siblings, a younger brother isabella was set on protection from anything that would hurt her, but what they couldn’t stop was the hurt she felt the day she woke up to a note on her beside table from her mother saying she was sorry but she had to leave.

isabella had just turned nine years old when her mother left leaving behind only the single letter for isabella and not another word. the nine year old isabella was confused each time her father questioned if anything else was said or left behind after her mother left but she also came to realization it was in that moment that the woman she loved so deeply and looked up to had left and truly had no intentions of returning leaving behind four kids (three that she admitted to isabella in her letter being her birth children) under the care of julian lopez who truly didn’t know how he’d be able to take care of four kids on his own.

even after her mother disappeared without a single trace isabella still was the sheltered child, her brothers protected her in every aspect, scared guys she liked away, scared guys who creeped her out away, she began to rebel. she did everything from sneak out, lie about staying at a friends house, skipped school but called the school pretending to be her mother to hide it away from her father and doing whatever she could do to make it into the industry she so desperately wanted to be in.

NOW:

isabella wanted to make it big, or so she thought she did but making it big isn’t what it seems to be. she’s had a few shows and movies she’s starred in but she got her big break when she released a small ep catching the looks from one movie producer who wanted just her for their next movie.

coming off of that movie all isabella wanted to do was hide away keep a low profile and just start to feel normal again which was how she found herself in the hamptons at her father’s vacation home while he was out of the country for business and wasn’t due to be back home any time soon so for the past six month she’s been trying to lay low and seem like her life is perfectly fine and not falling apart at the seams.

oliver park is the first of the park children. he was adopted by the park’s from the moment he was born and never once did they shy away from that. his other two siblings were by birth, something the park’s never though possible before the first pregnancy. they used to call oliver their little lucky gem because they say that the moment he entered their lives everything started to look up. 

things were good in the park family for a bit. he turned nine when things turned for the worst. his mother had fallen ill, his father left without oso much as a goodbye, and it soon became apparent that taking care of his family was up to him at even that young of an age. as he grew older he began to realize his mother wasn’t sick in the way he thought she was, and all his chicken noodle soups would never cure her, and that his father simply couldn’t handle her addiction to a certain white powder substance that she had developed. apparently the addiction formed shortly after giving birth to his youngest sibling and what led her to it was never truly discovered. 

regardless of the hard nights, oliver took as good care of his mother and siblings as he could. there were times in which his mother would try to get clean and he would be there for her every step of the way. countless nights oliver stayed up either assuring his siblings everything was okay, helping them with homework, doing his own studies, or keeping a watchful eye over his mother whenever she went through withdrawals. no matter how hard things were on the inside of his household it didn’t stop oliver from facing the world with a kind heart and warm smile. 

eventually his siblings moved out to go to college, leaving him alone with his mother for a couple of years until he too moved out. his love for comics started since he was a kid and it only grew as he got older. he once even created his own comic but he was a kid when this happened and he’s a bit embarrassed by the silly story line he had for it. when the chance to become the owner of his own comic book shop came along oliver took it instantly and he’s loved the position ever since. forbidden planet comics is his baby and you can probably find him there often. 

every so often he still sends his mother money to help her along, but he’s learned that he can’t help her if she doesn’t want to help herself. it was a hard lesson but one he is finally accepting. at the moment it’s just him, nibs, and his roommate (wanted connection).

💋 serenity was born and raised in calabasas, california  alongside her two older siblings -- one brother and one sister. she was adopted into the family when she was an infant and although, they informed her as soon as she was able to speak and understand, it didn't change a thing. they treated her like their own. they grew up in a loving household of famous parents. while growing up as the youngest sibling in the amor family, she was pretty spoiled. she received everything that she wanted with a simple beg. despite serenity being the younger, she got along well with her two siblings really well. she was extremely family-oriented and they were all practically attached to the hips.

💋 the couple made things work, that was until one night during her senior year of high school, he layed hands on her for the first time over a heated argument. serenity was home by herself, her parents off having a mini vacation and her siblings were away for college. after he stated that it was an accident, she forgave him a moved on. the two continued to date until the end of senior year. throughout, the year the two got into many arguments, most of them resulted in him physically and mentally abusing her. 

💋 during the occurrence, she kept everything to herself, however, after graduation she finally told her family everything that had been happening. immediately, her dad wanted to press charges and take him to court, but she denied it. that was until he wouldn’t stop showing up at her doorsteps, following her around, and sending her creepy messages. that was when she decided to get a restraining order against him while pressing charges. 

💋 after winning in court, due to the extremely amazing lawyer her father hired, she was finally able to close that chapter in her life and move on. during the abuse, she got really good at makeup -- more specifically really good at hiding her bruises. it sparked her interest in becoming a makeup artist. 

💋 soon, she started college. attending cosmetology school as well as go to school majoring in public relations. after graduating both courses and receiving her bachelors in public relations, she established herself in california as a pr manager as well as a makeup artist. things were going great for her, that was until her ex kept showing up at her doorsteps, all she wanted to do was move on from it.

people travel to the upper heart of southhampton each year for one of the most sought after cosmetic surgeons in america. despite marrying into a moderate family wealth, dr. brooks always took pride in the fact he built a fortune and reputation of his own from the ground up.

unless you witnessed the whirlwind romance between the young medical student and law student, it would appear that the wife of dr brooks couldn’t be further than suited for him. while he'd grown to value status, talking investments and flaunting his deep pockets at charity benefits, she wore her heart on her sleeve with the worthy causes she worked for. she never cared much for her parents’ money that would one day be left for her.

Calleigh is very driven and hardworking wedding planner. If she can’t get all her work done in one day, she’ll stay back until it’s all done even if that means limiting her social life and the amount of sleep she can get.

She comes off as extremely harsh and abrasive, but she means well. Calleigh is just often trying to get the best out of people.

Calleigh’s entire family tree can be traced back to the hamptons. going back to her great-grandparents they have all lived there so have very strong connections all over town. ivy amor, the twenty-eight years old model and stylist born and raised in calabasas, california. ivy grew up alongside her older brother, younger sister and her loving parents. she loved her family and she loved how close her and her siblings were. there always did everything together, attached at the hip. the three of them were always so supportive of one another.

ivy always had a interest in fashion and modelling for as long as she could remember. watching parents in the lime light, going to events, wearing so many amazing clothes it just made ivy want to be involved in that even more. she wanted her love for fashion to be her job and that’s what it became.

she made sure through her schooling years that she stayed focused and worked hard because she knew it would all pay off in the end. once she graduated from high school her application to study a bachelors degree in fashion and design was accepted.

ivy moved to new york and had such an amazing time at fashion school, it made her fall in love with fashion all over again. this is where she met her daughters dad. it first started off with coffee dates here and there on campus before it turned into them spending almost every free moment they had together.

three years later she had graduated from her degree with honours in almost all of her subjects. she was so proud of herself and how far she had come. throughout her degree she attended so many fashion shows and she just fell more in love with modelling. she had always had an eye for it but never thought she could be one. until one day she received a phone call from a modelling agency saying that she would be the perfect fit for their next campaign. she was shocked as she had never done it before but they had said they had seen her at one of the fashion shows she had been to while she studied.

ivy became a model when she was twenty-one and she hasn’t looked back since. she does some sketching every now and again and still loves it but her main focus is modelling.

when she turned twenty-five her modelling career had a little pause when she found out she was pregnant with her daughter Anastasia. it was quite overwhelming for ivy when she first found out and it didn’t make the situation any better when her daughters dad didn’t want anything to do with her. ivy was left to go through the entire pregnancy on her own, raise Anastasia as a single parent. although she is okay now at first she had a hard time, barely left the house. she couldn’t understand how someone she thought loved her could just leave like that and want nothing to do with their daughter.

before she gave birth to her daughter, she decided that she needed to get out of new york city. away from the pain that came along with some of the memories she had created there. she would always loved new york city but it didn’t feel like home anymore. ivy decided to move out to the hamptons, she had always loved it and so this was her next adventure.

after a year and a half off to focus on being a new mum, she started to slowly get back into her career. she started off getting back into styling as it was much easier for her to work from home with baby ana. it took her a little longer to get back into modelling which she was excited to get back into since it is what she loves. at the moment ivy is both modelling and styling while being a mother.

childhood➵ he was born in a family that did not have much to their name, even less of a name to society, and he was the middle child of his siblings. before his dad passed, when vincent was ten years old, he shared his passion for music with his children as much as he could. vincent was the one who picked it up most and almost instantly fell in love with playing the guitar, and the idea of being in a band one day. he grew up listening to a lot of 80s heavy metal/music and watching a lot of older movies. when his dad passed due to a terrible car accident, vincent ended up turning a bit more rebellious than anyone could have expected.

Isaac Williams was born and raised in the Hamptons, where his father, Simon, ran one of the most popular bars in the area, so everyone knew him. His mother wasn't around for long, as she left when Isaac was about four years old. Zac was never interested in school; it was a nightmare for him. He tried to concentrate, but something wasn't working. His father has always come by to pick him up because of something he has done. his savior was his gym class teacher. he was the one to not give up on him. one day his teacher came up to his father and told him to do some testing on Isaac's behavior because that's a kid that needs help. he couldn't stop moving from his seat and couldn't concentrate. Finally, when he was 12, his father took him to see a neurologist, and everything was clear, ADHD, his father smiled and hugged his son, telling him everything would be fine. The one thing they didn't tell him was that the medicine he had to take would cause him problems as he grew older. After a few years of taking medicine every day, he decided to stop and pretended to take it anyway. Something about the things they gave him made him feel empty, irritated, exhausted, and antipathetic. He reasoned that stopping taking them would help him feel something. But it made him even angrier and colder. Zac told his father during his senior year that he didn't want to finish school because he felt useless and wanted to start working in the bar. His father agreed because he didn't want his son to feel that way. A year later, Zac decided to join the army because he felt compelled to do something outside of the city that would make his father proud. Nineteen years old and still wearing his soldier uniform. Unfortunately, zac was injured in one of their activities a month after his 26th birthday and spent a few weeks in a coma. He's feeling better now, but he's not talking about it. He took a year off from the army and is now back in the Hamptons.

Ｐｅｒｓｏ��ａｌｉｔｙ:

Zac has a tendency to be introspective and needs some space and seclusion in order to pull up his strength. He may avoid the spotlight, and if he does find himself in a public role, he tends to hide his true self behind that role! Because he will direct you inwards, zac needs to find a path for himself that allows him to "get away from it all" at least some of the time. his compassion sets him apart from others but he tries to work with it rather than let his compassion work against him by reinforcing his own sense of loneliness.
