Location, Location, Location by ChicaD58 It was the last weekend of the year, and we decided to take a brief visit to a nearby arboretum for a change of scenery. The area around the lake had a lot of overgrown areas, more so than usual, and it seemed the wildlife preferred those areas. We almost missed the turtles sunning on this half submerged log, in a particularly overgrown area next to the bridge. Can't blame them for trying because there was a definite chill in this sunny winter afternoon. Alas, not the best shot but it was definitely nice to see some turtles even if they were pretty well hidden. 🐢 https://flic.kr/p/2kuQnFh
