   when ally couldn’t find kinzie in her usual quarters, the next place to check was here; the docks near the warehouse, with shipping containers galore. a nice place to sit on said containers like a delinquent and enjoy the view. ( though the scent could be better... )

   there’s a bit of silence after their muttering, unsure of what to say, if there was anything to say after that point. but the silence makes it more awkward than attempting a conversation. a few glances to the hacker.

   they’re still trying to get used to the new scenery.

   like a feral animal would, the first thing they did once they had some sense in their brain was to hide- the vents weren’t exactly a place most would consider a hiding spot, but they were able to fit. it felt easier to stay put than try to socialize considering everything going on now.

   but, there was always one thing they were curious about, and that was kinzie. she looked rather busy, so it wouldn’t be wise to really... interrupt? still, the times they explored, they still felt so vulnerable, just like on zinyak’s ship. it scared them. interestingly, there was a vent just above her little work-space, but even as quiet as they were the slight bioluminescence they emitted was enough to be noticed.

          ‘ it’s okay, kinzie. i don’t think even your genius brain would have come up with something that could withstand a planet destroying beam. ‘ maybe if she hadn’t been on vacation during the press conference where the abductions had taken place, she would still be alive. but then she wouldn’t have kiki with her either. and space seemed extremely boring to her. spending that much time with the rest of the saints would probably drive her out of her mind within a matter of minutes.

Friendships are born

Zinjai sat quietly as he thought about the events of the past week or so. Just recently his boss was defeated by the saints. This would lead into a new era for the Zin Empire and would be quite an adjustment he would have to get used to. It wasn't just Zinjai though.. Zinyak's own sons and their mother would need to adjust to the new situation too. It would really just be a big mess for them.

Zinjai didn't realize that he was picking at his fingernails as he was so deep in his own thoughts. However, he snapped out of his trance as the ambient sounds of the ship finally worked their way into his head and interrupted his train of thought. Looking around, Zinjai sighed as he remembered he was sitting in the lounge.

Meanwhile, Zinlov remained in the mothership. He sat in his room and stared out the window into space. He missed his father, but there really wasn't anything he could do about that. He just let out a sigh and flopped back into his bed, staring at the ceiling now. He was honestly afraid more than anything. What if the saints boss and Johnny came for him? Those two were the ones that scared him the most.

   “s- sorry, i didn’t mean to-” well, at least they were certain she was alive. being tasked with delivering things for the saints wasn’t anything new for them, but rarely did they ever have to actually speak to someone to make sure that they were giving things to the right person. the details were pretty vague, a warehouse- with some classified items. while ally’s curiosity did linger, they weren’t going to break confidentiality.

   it was clear that someone was living in this warehouse, & it wasn’t that hard locating the woman, but as luck would have it.. she was asleep. ally hated having to wake anyone up (it’s one of those strange anxiety inducers). they back up a little bit, raising their hands to show they’re unarmed.

   “uh, hi, sorry, i’m here to deliver the things that the boss wanted to give you?”    a pause, head turning slightly at the packages left on one of the tables.    “...kensington, right?”
