#oofuri #every time i get to around this part in the manga #i always think hard about why oki is the only one with a low cooperative score #bc like... why lol he's a good guy who works with everyone #the only thing i can think of is he gets so caught up in negative self-talk #that it affects his thinking of the bigger picture and being a team player #like mihashi (who also has a low score) avoided the low cooperative score because #his desire to be an ace pitcher overrides how he feels about himself or his skill #so mihashi (and mizutani and nishihiro) will simply Try Anyway as opposed to oki who will get nervous and tense up #anyway. i relate to oki
