My first attempt at making an apple pie all by myself! Usually Mom makes the holiday apple pies, but I volunteered to make this one for Thanksgiving, mainly because I wanted to try this recipe. It comes courtesy of John Kirkwood, an absolutely adorably charming chef whose YouTube channel is a delight to watch. Seriously, if you need a ray of sunshine in your heart and simple, yummy recipes for your home kitchen, look no further than John's channel.
