fantastic news so far on aliexpress I have found decoden cream and hundreds of jank-fuck bootleg kirbies (and some ostensibly legit kirbs as well, being sold at legit prices)

#I have also found lots of cute skirts #and stickers by the fuckin pound #I'm having a good time #honestly why have I never checked aliexpress in earnest before #I will get around to specifically looking for decor eventually #like for sure some of this art is hella stolen I've seen a couple printed with images from artists I follow #but like. use your best judgement. recognize when it's being stolen from an independent artist instead of a company #stealing art from a company is fine tbh #*a big company like disney or nintendo #some artists are technically with tiny companies instead of wholly independent and that's still bad theft #in general things that are sculpted or sewn are less likely to be direct bootlegs of small artists #but things that are just printed images are at far higher risk #altho again if you can recognize it as official art like who cares yknow? #not like sanrio's hurting for cash #enamel pins are also frequently bootlegs of small artists tho #because they're usually manufactured by big companies who don't treat that work like it's exclusive to the artist/customer
