#harrison graves #spent 999 hours dicking around with hatch texture layers -_- #''oh this will look cool'' (it ends up not looking cool) ''wtf. how do i make it cool'' (trial and error rinse and repeat. forever) #this wouldve been faster if i was physically cutting out screentones and applying it to paper irl. because then i wouldve given up faster. #hmm csp only tracked 1 or 2 hours but that cant be right. it was a fucking eternity #the little portrait in the middle looks fine but it doesnt work as well on the other two... #i wonder if it has to do with the texture density relative to the overall scale of the drawing... or maybe i need better shadow grouping... #or just more varied values in general. what if i tried giving him a dark tanktop in the sit drawing... #no no i cant open this file again today i need to move on with my life #i already spent too long last night drawing the worst chibis of all time. no more art im DONE (for now)
