points at you. if dalva could perform an lb3 would it be same same to whatever the class one is or is it flavored
*is pointed at* honestly i don't play pugilist/monk and i haven't delved enough into reaper to ever need its limit break (it was literally last week that i paid attention to the limit break for bard, my main combat job, and went "hehehe crossbow") so i had to go and google them-
this is not something i would have ever thought about but i think they both work for him (unfortunately i don't have a reference for pugilist - do the classes even have limit breaks? - and though he's never canonically a monk, i'll just go with that one)
part of the thing i like with characters is having two completely different sides of the coin, and it's the same with dalva like great, he becomes a pugilist to try to be strong like his big brother! and that's all well and good but then it totally becomes something more sinister because he's been promised strength beyond his wildest dreams and i was also reminded that zenos was a reaper in the end so it's fun that there's some bonus trauma for his brother there too lol
the point of all that is that i feel those two limit breaks work the same way. one's like some holy light thing and the other is dark and spooky and very cool
but if dalva was gonna have something custom, it would be fun for him to have something silly. like if it was cooking related. enemies get crushed with a giant flan.
