Oh man I’m dying, I love paradise by the dashboard light!! It’s a great song and once it really hit me it was about a rough marriage it just clicked more for me. Honestly hetrich could have so much angst potential too.
But to continue with cuteness, I could see Lars trying to over compensate for his lack of experience in certain areas by giving James ridiculous gifts. They could be so cute together.
And like, because I’m so be into James bottoming. It’s chihuahua and Great Dane energy.
Tbh I’ve also been drinking, might be a little scatter brained.
But like, why was their hair so nice? Like all of Metallica had such fluffy and shiny hair, and there’s no way they were showering regularly or taking good care of their hair.
I love Paradise By The Dashboard Light too! It's a beautiful song and very fun.
Hetrich absolutely does have a ton of angst potential tooooo
Gift-giving would be so cute for them. I can imagine their differences coming out in that area. James is mentioning something about needing to fix his guitar when he gets home (and honestly, the guitar is barely held together) and a day later, Lars presents him with a new one.
I don't personally vibe with James bottoming in hetrich, but I can definitely see why you like it!
And you're so onto something about the hair. These men were showering once a week AT MAX. I refuse to believe any of them knew about proper haircare, most of them probably didn't even know what conditioner was. And yet they all looked like walking shampoo commercials.

i know i sound crazy when i say this ( and tbh i probably am, considering we are talking about a lunatic with saviour complex here but anyway ) i do find it oddly compelling the bonds masha has built with both frances and carmel - idk man, they got something there, something raw you know ? amongst all that tripping, all those manipulations, they are one of the few things there that feel tangible; that feel real.  while i know masha is crazy, and what she’s doing is wrong on SO MANY LEVELS, i do believe she was genuine in her intention ? sure, she did wanna use the marconis for her own benefit but ?? the others ? she had no use for them, she could’ve easily only picked people who had lost their loved ones, but she didn’t. she wants to help them, her intentions are good - but we all know that hell is filled of those. i do think the tranquillium experience was very transformative for these characters, and that goes both as a good and a bad thing there. i just - i have a lot of feelings between masha and the girls, ‘kay ?
