#baph bleats #im trying to get back into singing with no professional guidance #i remember im an alto and i hated it bc choir songs didnt tend to center altos #sopranos got all the good shit #musical theatre was so much better as an alto but there are still a lot of soprano centered roles #i have a 'well developed singing voice' according to my old choir teacher but altos almost never get a chance to shine #i think if my parents had been more encouraging of me in the arts it would have been better for me in a lot of ways #i wish I hadnt kneecapped my range as a child #maybe one day I'll get my voice fixed and recover my upper range
