autistic culture is not just not having friends irl but having people you are probably (?) friends with (??) but not knowing the definition of a friend and so not being sure whether you are friends or not or whether its appropriate or allowed to go hang out with them at like lunch or something outside of the setting u usually hang out with them in and not knowing how to interact with them around a group of other people in a different type of environment and so choosing instead to go do your own thing bc at least you aren’t having to mask and be uncomfortable the whole period and also silence and calm is so nice omg
