hihi! so my mom has been a hockey fan since she was like 11 (and i’ve picked up a lot since growing up around it and now being interested in it myself for a few years) and i’ve been like telling her about all the worry surrounding jamie and trevor and she’s like “don’t worry they’re signing them” and from what i see and everything and based on what my mom says and stuff, not signing jamie and trevor is essentially organization sue in slice (i used a more friendly term). ducks need so much help and if they want to genuinely be a good team and not like dead last, they need trevor, jamie, and troy terry. obviously with them probably picking a guy like adam fantilli, it’ll help, but it’s not enough. the ducks wouldn’t be that insanely incompetent to not sign them. they’re first round picks, and to give up on them when you’ve essentially barely given them a chance? the award for dumbest organization ever in the history of every sport would go to them. i understand the ducks organization wants to win but they need to have patience. for example, the la kings (me and my mom’s team), they could’ve easily given up on alex turcotte, but they haven’t yet bc he’s a first round pick. to give up on a first round pick top 10 no less in both instances for trevor and jamie is just dumb. and even dumber if the ducks don’t sign them even after they were quite literally the promotion for the regular season schedule. obviously it is still a little nervewracking that we haven’t seen anything from the ducks or jamie and trevor, but i personally doubt that they’re not going to be ducks come opening night. the ducks are stirring the pot fr. and from a money standpoint, the ducks have a shit ton of it (unlike the la kings WHO NEED A FUCKING GOALIE, but i digress this isn’t about the la kings LMAO) so working out a deal over money for the two roommates probably isn’t the issue. anyways i hope this helps those who are stressing. im also here for moral support and other questions or concerns others may have <33
