I sincerely hate the modern impulse that women need to look as small as physically possible in every way. She looks great in the top on the left????

#for a really large chunk of fashion history having a small waist was fashionable #BUT the way people achieved this was largely through optical illusion #giant sleeves padded busts padded hips crinolines hoop skirts bustles #now so many fashion guides are just about minimizing everything #and the only real way to get a fashionable figure is to change your body #i know i’m queer but ma’am stop teaching women they must be small #broad shoulders are hot
