also the thing about michael fussing over adam like pointing out that fast food is bad for him and checking over his wrists when they get released from the handcuffs is like. adam makes no move to stop him doing any of it. when michael’s like you know that stuff will kill you right? he doesn’t tell him to quit fussing he’s just like worth it :) and i do think that adam kind of likes it if only because it means that michael cares about him and he’s had so few people in his life actually care about him. so he’ll just let michael judge his food choices and check him over and jump out being all overprotective and shit when it seems like someone’s about to make him upset like sam and dean did. so he’s definitely enabling it

#i think it's funny how midam was paralleled directly to sam and eileen with the agreement parallel but it wasn't ONLY with that #like i've said it before but at the beginning of 15x08 sam's like you think i'm being overprotective? and eileen's like a little bit yeah! #and then we have multiple scenes of michael being overprotective over adam #except adam never. says anything like that. like he just sort of lets michael be overprotective #and it makes sense! michael's the only one who's given a real shit about him since his MOTHER. it makes sense that he'd let him be #overprotective. that he'd let him fuss. because no one else ever HAS #for someone as independent as 5x18 established adam to be. i think letting himself be cared about is a huge thing for him #no matter how casually he kind of plays it off #kate rambles #michael #adam milligan #midam
