i was watching the bear earlier today (s01ep08 - braciole) as one does for research purposes just made me want more sydcarmy's scenes brainstorming together and cooking together, but maybe now at her place? the place she'll eventually get when she finally gets a salary? or maybe at her dad's kitchen

i'd like to see carmy formally meeting his father-in-law in an almost cringe way? like, i want Emmanuel to watch them cook together for a bit and realize why Carmy deserves Sydney's trust

but then leave bc the vibes are somehow weirdly romantic in a way Emmanuel feels he's interrupting something, so he leaves them alone.
