#i'm getting things saying do 104in

this week because i had so few orders i brought my quilt stuff to work on at work and i got three hours of work in yesterday and five in today. then i was so stoked i spent three hours sewing this evening. my body hurts so badly and tho i did the math for 1/4" seam allowance i misjudged the size of my presser foot and sewed at 5/16-3/8" which amounts to a heartbreaking amount of size lost.

okay i did the math and actually my initial estimate was correct i only lost two inches which is frankly impressive and not difficult to supplement with the border i was already planning to do

#i do have to revisit my math tho bc something smells off here #why was i initially planning to have a queen size quilt and make my patchwork body 90in long is fine #i'm getting things saying do 104in #i've got plenty of fabric but i don't really want to add a whole additional column of 3x3s #just looked up the size of queen quilt batting #and ya girl needs. another row not column #which is definitely less #but it's. an additional 81 squares #you know what tho i'll fucking do it. it's only one pair of pants worth #kind of throws off my vibe bc i already sewed all my trios #and the single pair o pants will not have as much tone variation as when i was mixin my whole shebang
