Show recommendations are my love language so if you actually watch a show I love (and love it too) I will love you forever, but also if you don’t watch it I will definitely take that as “I hate you and want you to shut up forever”

#the more I hyperfixate the more i feel this #idk I keep trying to get my roommate to watch jatp and she won’t and I know I should let her watch what she wants #but i cant help but feel it’s a personal attack #like it’s something I care deeply about and despite her having way more free time than I do she refuses to watch it #and ive recommended other stuff that she hasn’t watched #she’s only gotten into two things that I’ve suggested and enjoyed both so idk why this is different #idk I’m definitely overreacting #i just love sharing the things I love with people I care about #so when they aren’t interested it kinda hurts #i just want someone to talk about my interests with without feeling like I’m annoying them #it’s one of the things I miss most about my best friend from high school #she always used to let me go off about the things I loved and tried to get into them too #i want that again but I’ve never been good at making friends and my roommate is the closest one I’ve got
