anyways if y’all are looking for a new game, i highly recommend the newest rendition of Layers of Fear. the story has changed from when i last played the original but it is SO good

if you liked Act One of TPtM - the uncertainty, the hallucinations, things clearly being Not Right, a mostly (i think) nonlinear storyline, etc - then i highly recommend this game :3

#she’s saying ‘get out’ i believe 😭 #she’s the first ‘enemy’ i’ve encountered #it’s mostly kinda eerie and a thriller but little jump scares #at least to me #the atmosphere is fantastic #like there’s creepy shit going on but nothing that’ll put you in immediate danger #and that’s what i love #you get to just explore and learn the story #idk what’s actually going on bc the protagonist is mentally unwell #haha sounds familiar #but it’s interesting seeing what appears to be both sides of the same story and not knowing who to trust #anyways i’m going back to playing
