新入生

New students didn't just transfer into Yuuhizaka every day. It was an elite school, so new students were rare, and usually caused quite a commotion. This newest girl, Hatsune Miku, was no different. Rin had already heard a lot about her -- that she was taking classes in all three programs, that she had beautiful long hair, that she seemed to have real star power. She was excited to meet her, and was thrilled when she had been asked to give the girl a tour.

She had arrived a few hours ago, but the school had wanted to give her time to settle in. Rin was very eager to get on with it, but she didn't want to overwhelm the poor girl when she was just getting settled in! So she waited not-so-patiently, reading the same line in her textbook over and over as her mind wandered, going over where she would take the girl first and what she would say. Finally, it was time, and she went to the room that Miku was assigned.

"Hatsune-san! Are you settling in alright?" She called out such a greeting to the wood door as she knocked. She hoped that the girl had mostly finished unpacking! She'd hate to interrupt her. Had the school even told her that she'd be getting a tour? Perhaps it would be best to make sure. "I'm Kagamine Rin! I'm here to give you a tour ...?"
