Ok could kiss John Preston on the mouth but he is aromantic. I think s character exploring emotions for the first time and yet failing to grasp romantic feelings and sexual attraction despite being off the drugs and now in a society that accepts emotion's, him being still unable to feel romantic attraction after Vivianna is more interesting that simply exploring romance. Mary was the first person to ever give him affection and him, being pretty much programmed to se e man and woman relationships as romance it is only logical that he interprets it as romance. He craves being close to another person. He is aroace because I am. I hope i have made myself clear.
