The Simpsons have always been great but the last season (34-35) they were not holding back at all. Amazing satire, all other adult animation should be taking notes.

#wrenfea.exe #they make it extremely clear its satire even for people barely paying attention #i thought by now the Simpsons would be redundant and running out of ideas but absolutely not #they tackle how big charities are just set up to keep the rich from paying taxes #and that they dont actually put resources towards helping people bc the need is what gets them paid #they also tackle how police gain money and power and no longer help people #and how they see reducing their budget by even .000001% as them being defunded #and thin blue line people dont immediately stop watching bc they use crossing guards as the example not cops #but its very clear who they are actually talking about (and they bring in the TSA #ICE and even right wing vigilantes #the Simpsons #in contrast i tried watching krapopolis and its...horrible #shitty animation cliche one sided characters #its a cool concept but absolutely horrible execution #i only was interested bc ive been on a history kick recently and the guy from wwdits voices a character
