thinking about chamber and deadeye dynamics,,,,

#just... they obviously need eachother in order to achieve their goals (whatever those might be) #the problem arises when they can't agree on the execution #in my head deadeye is the more bold one. and he doesn't hesitate in using force to get what he wants #whereas chamber is more of a negotiator #don't get me wrong. chamber is just as capable as deadeye when it comes to physical combat #but chamber doesn't like escalating situations #however. this doesn't stop him from doing what needs to be done #it's just his preference to not do that. #the thing with chamber is that i don't think he has bad intentions at all. quite the oppposite actually #i think deadeye somehow managed to talk him into doing things like destroying fracture #once chamber has his eye on something he will get it. that's just his nature #but i think overtime chamber gets more doubtful about what he's doing #and he starts to get more hesistant in helping deadeye #until chamber eventually starts to question his own morals. throw in a lil identity crisis for funsies too #he starts to get very numb and detached from the world around him #i feel like that would be his last ditch effort to actually pull through with the agreement he made with his double #on the other hand deadeye has good intentions as well but it's almost negated by how much harm he does #it stems from the fact the he actually just... cares a lot #in his head what he's doing will help the future. and so he's willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that #even if it means causing harm now. to him it all pays off in the end #hmmm... what if he had a god complex. just for funsies. #anyways. because of how much effort he puts into everything and the sacrifices he's made #he feels betrayed when chamber ultimately wants out #it's not like he didn't see it coming. but deadeye still did have hope that chamber would stick with him until the end #when deadeye feels the tension growing between them that's when he starts to become almost possessive of chamber #he mostly does this by 'testing' chamber's priorities. #and yeah they eventually have a falling out and that just fuels deadeye even more #okay I would write more but I'm tired. bye now
