#hmmmm. #on the one hand i do agree w the basic idea that government-level abandonment of mask mandates is def the core of the issue #but on the other hand as an incredibly immunocompromised person who CANNOT isolate #i find it rather. disheartening. that i guess im just supposed to give up on even trying to help myself #bc its essentially useless in the current circumstances&everyone-- even ppl on my side-- agree w that lmao. #like i guess i already feel that way about basically everything lately-- i dont need to go out of my way to put myself in risky situations #when going to the grocery store is rolling the dice on whether or not ill get covid&potentially drop dead of either that #or what itll do to my white blood cell count lmao. #but it is rather jarring to have it phrased outright as masks being completely useless&individual responsibility #is essentially an overexpectation of those around me. #just a WEIRD thing to open this app to
