#what harry said about wasted time is something so many people who experienced trauama and/or oppressive circumstances feel #it's not often spoken about in a constructive way usually offhand like lol thinkin abt the teen life i didnt have etc #but dealing with that lost time is a huge part of healing and allowing yourself to live in the present #it's important to know that you haven't wasted your life that your situation is not of your own fault #that even though you may feel years behind your peers for various reasons actually those people are probably just as lost as you #most importantly though it's okay to feel sad and angry about that time bc it truly is a mourning process #and if you're in a point where you feel your life is being wasted.. you have so much time left whether it's 60 40 20 years whatever #even if your situation isnt going to change there are still ways to live a quality life regardless how much is left #idk i have a lot of thoughts abt this it's something i personally think abt and talk abt a lot haha #i hope if u read this all you're doing okay <3
