#martin speaks #its like. tf2 but retrofitted to fit my own tastes + portal n half life connected n other shit #so like. blu n red are different people (there are women n men n gender non-conforming people). there are multiple teams for both red n blu. #the red n blu teams aren't precisely fighting each other nor are they confined to bases for long periods of time. #its more like Redmond n Blutarch employ their teams of mercenaries to fufill orders/“missions” of other shady rich people that have payed #them for. the public is not aware of this n does not put two n two together that whenever red n blu have set up shop some insane shit is #gonna go down. because while my own take on world is super more grounded n seriously violent than the one in the tf2 comics. #it's still wacky as hell. anyhow. so while they aren't precisely fighting against each other. there are times where they are sent to disrupt #each others missions and swoop in n fulfil the order instead of them. also respawn is just. wayyy different from both the game n the fanon #so i should make a separate post about it lol #anyhow #Martins TF2 AU
