came across an old (2022) post of yours when searching "apex reptiles" to see if anyone on tumblr has experience with them.

did you ever end up getting that apex enclosure for Monty? if so, do you have any opinions on it? any cons? i'm interested in their enclosures but can't find many recs or reviews of them, so sorry for bothering you like this

I like that it's modular and it was easy to put together. I like that I'd be able to take it apart to move if needed. I like that I was able to give him a 4ft tall area without the entire thing being 4ft tall.

It was rather expensive though, compared to other similarly sized pvc enclosures. I had to do some drilling to install lights and heat. I wish there were cord ports towards the front of the enclosure, I had to drill new ones for some of my lights. The doors don't sit entirely right so I have to push them to the side to get them to latch. All fairly minor stuff mostly. Overall I really like the enclosure!
