You know, I get really tired of Christian apocalypse cults

Here in we're defining apocalypse cult as a group that keeps talking about how "this even is actually the end of the word for realsies this time", and I'd probably get tired of all apocalypse cults, but they're not the ones I tangentially encounter

I was just thinking about the invasion of Ukraine and remembering the typical round of the certain Christian groups that are like "this is the end times", and gleeful about it and it's just like... you people are sick

Others are suffering horribly and you're all pretty much celebrating because you're crazy enough to think you've figured out the time of the rapture or whatever, and now you'll go get to be bosom buddies with Jesus

Well I'll tell you, if God's actually friendly with ghouls like you I want nothing to do with that frankly, but I don't think that's it. I think you've got some people who want to feel important by rubber necking at human misery

Anyway, it's all kind of irrelevant. I really doubt this has anything to do with any of you all on here. It's not like this is common even among Christians

I was just reminded of it and how much it pisses me off is all
