no but listen do you realize how perfect of an excuse that would be for so many of them to get together on a regular basis without there being either awkwardness or fighting

imagine ! everyone getting together in some basement or garage somewhere and just jamming together, messing around with old and new tunes, attempting to write lyrics or just helping each other get better at playing different instruments

tails always setting up everyone’s equipment because somehow he just instantly knows exactly how all of it functions, you hear his name every couple minutes because everyone knows hes the person to turn to when something’s not working

maria showing cream how to play the piano ?? and cheese just randomly running along some of the keys sometimes because ooo noises !! anytime maria isnt seriously practicing you can turn to the piano and see at least one or two people sitting beside her trying their hand at it because it’s such a convenient instrument to just play casually

blaze knowing violin or cello because she’s just that classy and slowly but surely teaching rouge and/or amy because they’re the only ones with the patience and refined taste for it, leading to many damaged ears at first but some sweet back-ups eventually

knuckles being requested all over the place because everyone just loves having him drumming up a beat on whatever hard surface is nearby when theyre practicing. rouge trying to read his raps and having so much trouble saying all those words so quickly it instigates several inside jokes

omega downright serving as a boom box. whenever he shows up for rehearsal you just know things are gonna get wild before the end of the night

shadow reluctantly turning to sonic for help at getting better with a guitar, ends up mostly just humming/singing along to whatever tune sonic ends up strumming for practice

big surprising everyone with how he doesnt know any instruments but is super unknowingly musical, like, he’s that one guy who can make a tune out of flipping cups or rubbing the rim of glasses of water and stuff. he mostly just sits there and listens and hangs out at rehearsal but hes the one who can tell exactly whats off about these tunes or lyrics youre struggling with

the chaotix showing up and causing absolute chaos ?? espio can handle a bass decently enough but vector and charmy are just very Noisy, a few sessions in everyone manages to break it to them that maybe theyre not as naturally talented for this as they thought, but they still keep showing up for the snacks and the friends and maybe eventually they get better

everyone just kind of getting along and wanting to make something great together ?? having a good time sharing a hobby that still lets each of them be themselves, be different ?? this is the gotdamn content im here for
