the orion and andorian makeup is really distracting to me bc like... they JUST did face paint. the mouth and tongue wouldn't be red. the eyes wouldn't be blinding white with a red waterline. contacts and CGI could have gone a long way here. i don't see aliens - i just see Dudes in grease paint. which might be ok with TOS, but you have saru and linus. you KNOW they can do better.
