i can't keep going "this is CRAZY!!!!!" every time I watch a classic shoujo but in my defense this is literally crazy

#she really managed to create the most baffling lesbian love triangle dynamic the world had ever seen w/ rei/fukiko/kaoru #like. they genuinely do not make them like this anymore #and rei in general is so like what if that toxic harlequin romance protagonist was butch #and when they added substance abuse on top of everything else she has going on???????????????? #kaoru is currently my fave bc lets be honest she has the least wrong with her. what is UP with fukiko #and i cant even process mariko yet
