Child-me may have not gotten all of her songs, but upon further review and with the power of voortschrijdend inzicht, i must conclude that Anouk's For Bitter or Worse album consists of nothing but banger after banger after banger

#like little me could not stand faith in my moon but honestly...it's a vibe #there are very few albums where i genuinely like every single song #but for bitter or worse really is one of them #like even bløfs umoja i have zero interest in één en alleen #klein orkest's roltrap naar de maan has that god awful song about the trains and the stomach aches #hozier's shrike and as it ways are as my mom would say: zeiknummers #i think maybe rumours might qualify? although i dont care much for don't stop but it's not like i hate it #katzenjammer's a kiss before you go is also way up there in terms of chef's kiss albums #like the diversity of the genres they go through and then they end on god's great dust storm #like that song is nothing but theatricality and it is SO good #the way it goes from so small to so big #ugh so good #but anyway #for bitter or worse: deeply underrated album (by me) honestly
