Mom couldn't be more pleased. Peter's transition into Patricia, their dainty daughter, was nearly complete.

Oh, there were a few more physical changes coming down the pike simply to ensure that Patricia was accepted as one of the girls, but dad had finally embraced having a little girl at last.

Mom was thrilled- she had always counted on having a daughter. And her sister was so excited! Growing up, the two of them had talked about what it would be like to turn a boy into a sweet little girl.

krissiincurls original captioned photo - 11/16/21 - Mom and Dad had left their 14 year old son Kevin home alone when they went out for the evening. Mom was shocked when she walked into the living room. Kevin was asleep alright, but not in his bed.

She had a suspicion that Kevin had been visiting his older sister Emily's bedroom while she was away at college, trying on her dresses and lingerie. And Kevin had been growing out his hair.

OMG, Mom couldn't believe how pretty and feminine Kevin was, and so vulnerable asleep in the chair. She could tell that Kevin had even curled his hair.

Mom called Dad in and then gently awoke .... her daughter.

Kevin was in tears. "I was going to change before you got home but...."

Mom hugged him tight and could tell he was also wearing a bra.

"Everything's alright, sweetie. But would you introduce us to the cute girl sitting here?"

Kevin gave them a bewildered look.

"What's your real name, baby girl?"

Kevin paused but finally whispered, "Katie."

"That's such a pretty name for our new daughter."

Katie looked at her dad.

He had a tear running down his cheek, as he said, "I really like the name Katie."

Mom took her girl's hand and led her upstairs.

"Let's get you all ready for bed."

Mom left for a moment and returned from Emily's bedroom with a silky powder blue nightgown.

"Katie, why do I suspect that this will not be your first time in this nightie?"

Her daughter could only smile.
