torn between starting a new playthru of stardew valley using one of those mods that slows down game tick speed (i used it before on one of my old laptops, it totally changes the way you play the game bc it gives you time to do Everything and talk to Everyone and check All The Paths. and makes energy management and thus cooking an actual constant part of the game) OR sewing an 8 panel skirt. i already got the measurements i need and took the sewing crate out but now im wondering if i actually should spend the next 4 hours sitting on the floor hunched over.

#on the other hand i really want a skirt though #kind of has to be heavily pieced bc i just dont have that much fabric in general. and i have a vague idea of what im going for #i have some kinda shitty cotton with a sunflower print and then also some solid color fabric quarters that Might be big enough #but mostly i have a fair amount of this nice white cotton with a ton of white embroidery that i wanna use for this #and i really want a skirt right now. and the goodwill had stuff that looked nice but was ALL polyester. which there is no way in hell #i am wearing polyester ANYTHING for any reason. bc the texture is so bad and i cant stand it. #i dont really remember where i was going with this. i also have bread rising and need to make a soup later... #considering the level of Brain Is Not Here its probably better not to start the skirt. also everything hurts so thats a problem as well #but i am in a sewing mood !!!!!! augh. #i could clean off the kitchen table and work there but my sister's got HER work stuff all over it. hrrm #well. we'll see. #i could also do a patchwork skirt (and definitely want to) but thats way more sewing.possibly too much ? but also maybe like easier ? #in terms of math. you just sut squares and sew em right ? #hm. #sewing
