"it  doesn't  have  to  be  an  issue  if  you  don't  make  it  one."  who  said  that  all  flings  must  eventually  become  something  more  serious?  why  should  he  have  to  discuss  something  as  disturbing  as  feelings?  he's  quite  content  with  keeping  things  casual  and  uncomplicated,  but  he  understands  that  not  everyone  shares  the  same  mindset.  his  gaze  falls  upon  the  half-empty  glass  of  water  and  the  medication  nearby.  his  mood  may  still  be  dampened,  but  if  he's  being  honest,  there's  a  slight  hint  of  amusement  glimmering  in  his  eyes.  "why  not?"  he  adds,  though  he  doesn't  truly  expect  an  answer  from  her.  avoidance  has  served  him  well  thus  far,  and  he  doesn't  feel  the  need  to  delve  into  deeper  conversations.  "not  everyone  has  to  want  to  talk  about  things."  he  asserts.  this  isn't  a  church  or  an  aa  meeting.
